PP6161 - Working with LGBTQI Issues in Psychotherapy

This course provides an overview of clinical issues, contemporary theories, interventions, and research relevant to psychotherapy with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, questioning, and intersexed clients. Emphasis is on affirmative mental health services including the importance of developing an awareness of the cultural, historical, and social realities of LGBTQI individuals.
