B6025 - Management Decision Models3 credit hour(s) This course explores applications of cognitive science and statistical and economic methods to teach students to understand, filter, and apply information to make decisions that impact corporate strategy and performance. Students explore the different types of pitfalls rooted in personal and social influences that distort decision-making. Students learn to recognize these cognitive traps to diagnose problems and develop solutions. They also learn to apply statistical and microeconomic models to evaluate their options critically when multiple courses of action are possible.
