The updates listed below apply to the 2016-2017 Argosy University Academic Catalog – Graduate Programs, Volume 7, Issue 1. The additions below were added to reflect current information.
The entries below describe where the new information should be inserted. Students are encouraged to contact their academic advisor or program chair in the event they have any questions regarding changes in program requirements.
The following update applies to Section Two, Institutional Policies
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
The following was inserted following JURY WAIVER AND AGREEMENT TO BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION in the section titled The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
This policy is for use by all campuses other than those located in the states of California or Washington or any campus regulated by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
Offering Campuses for this program now include Argosy University, Nashville, Argosy University, Phoenix, and Argosy University, Twin Cities, noting that the Argosy University, Twin Cities campus is approved to begin offering this programs effective Spring B (February 16, 2017).
Illinois (Argosy University, Chicago and Argosy University, Schaumburg)
Students are encouraged to first attempt to resolve complaints using the general student complaint process outlined in the catalog. Complaints may be reported to the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) through the online complaint system http://complaints.ibhe.org/ or by mail at 1 North Old State Capitol Plaza, Suite 333, Springfield, Illinois 62701-1377. Students may also call the institutional hotline number 217-557-7359.
