Students taking online courses from their home state of Iowa who withdraw from their course(s) will receive a prorated course refund based on their official last date of attendance (LDA).
Tuition refunds will be determined as follows:

Correction and Updates
The correction and updates described below apply to “Factors Affecting Academic Progress .”
Correction
The correction described below applies to “Withdrawn and Repeated Courses,” the first topic under “Factors Affecting Progress.”
The sentence that comprises the second paragraph should be read as follows:
In the College of Undergraduate Studies, grades of “D+” or below in the program core and concentration courses and grade of “F” in all other coursework are considered below minimum standards.
Updates
The updates described below apply to “Developmental Courses,” the second topic under “Factors Affecting Progress.”
The third sentence of the first paragraph should read as follows:
Developmental courses do not count in determining the maximum time frame (MTF) or incremental completion rate (ICR).
The sentence that comprises the second paragraph should read as follows:
A student enrolled in developmental courses in the College of Undergraduate Studies must pass the course with a grade of CR (70% or better).
