The list below compiles updated items with a short description of where the new information has been inserted. Students are encouraged to contact their academic advisor or program chair in the event they have any questions regarding changes in program requirements.
Revisions to the Argosy University Academic Catalog—Undergraduate Programs
Update
The following update applies to Section One, Introduction .
The institutional accreditation information (see “Institutional Accreditation” under “Accreditation and State Licensing ”) should be replaced with the following:
Argosy University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (985 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 100, Alameda, California, 94501, http://www.wascsenior.org).
Update
The following update applies to Section One, Introduction .
The following new paragraph should be added following the second paragraph under “History and Philosophy ”:
September 2011 Argosy University received notice from the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) that its institutional accreditor of record has been changed from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association to the Commission on Senior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Update (in Red)
The following update applies to Section Four, Student Rights and Responsibilities .
The first sentence under “Unresolved Disputes ” should be replaced with the following:
If a dispute cannot be resolved satisfactorily after exhausting the institution’s complaint or appeals procedures, the student may file a complaint with the campus state licensing agency or Argosy University’s institutional accrediting agency, the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (985 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 100, Alameda, California, 94501, http://www.wascsenior.org).
